Why are the book pages blank? Is my Firewall blocking some Epic content?

Epic requires javascript enabled to run properly. If you have any script-blocking add-ons, the first thing to check is disabling it to see if this resolves your issue.

If you have javascripts enabled, sometimes school networks (or even home networks) block access to outside resources. Symptoms might be that you can log in, but when you open a book, all the pages are blank or you might be able to see books but can't hear the sound from Audiobooks. A firewall might only block certain types of files such as the pages in the book or the audio file.

If you are using Epic at home, you can make this adjustment to your firewall permissions on your router. Even if using Epic on a wireless device, your wifi router will control what content can get through. Please see the list of the domains and sub-domains to allow below.

If you are in a school, please ask your IT staff to make sure that access to our domain - getepic.com - and all its sub-domains are allowed on your network. Please see the list of the domains and sub-domains to allow below.
